Blissful Days

What a fun day I had today! This morning when Dad and I were returning from our walk, we ran into Gracie and Kila and their tired Mom Diane. I didn't feel like going home to be alone all day, so Diane said I could come and play! I was so happy I did a jig. I love Gracie and I love Gracie's house. I try get in there whenever I can! So we played and wrestled and napped a bit and Diane only dragged me home at lunchtime.

When Mom came home today I could tell she'd been shopping at the supermarket. I could tell the bags she was carrying were full of snacks for me! Mom sure does love me. Five minutes after Dad helped unload the car, chicken thighs and beef marrow bones were boiling on the stove, and I just knew it was all for ME!! And I was right! I had yummy chicken for dinner (though mixed with canned carrots that I didn't love) followed by a marrow bone. YUMMY!!

After dinner we hung out with Gracie and Kila again, AND with Elvis, Gia, Sophie and their humans on Gracie's front porch. It's always a fun time. Gracie and I wrestled and then Sophie's Dad Vince brought us all chewies!

Why can't every day be like this one? Ahhh!

Axel,

two words jumped out at me like cats from the laundry basket: marrow bone.

I've just spent two hours on mine. I'm now sleepin' with it.

For me, tomorrow will be another chewday.

Glad you had a great day.

Lucky you!!! I get marrow bone only once a fortnight. If the schedule on my "PDA" is right, I'll get mine this Sat!!!

Axel,
Marrow bones sound delicious I will have to ask mom or grandma to pick me up some. As for your kisses mom and I both agree since your mom's had such a rough day and bought you treats you should give him quite a few kisses she deserves it!

wirey hugs,
Ozzy

Dear Ax-

Tell your mommy that we hope she is feeling better. Did my mommy tell you that she has stitches from me? I tried to bite the new foster dog and got mom instead. She is sore too and I didn't even get in trouble. Anyway tell mom that we are thinking of her!

Hey Mackie,
Mom says to tell you she is FINE. The appointment was just a check up, it's not a new thing...she is really FINE..in fact she made me take out that part in the blog cos she got so many kind, concerned emails...
I can't believe you bit the foster kid....that's not nice and your poor Mom. Wish her better! And don't go teach that new kid on the block how to eat socks...!!

Glad to hear that your mommy is fine, dear Ax. My mom is too. I had to bite the new guy...he tried to mount me! I dont work that way and I'm his boss. So I turned around to send him a toothfilled warning sign and got mom's hand. Its just a few stitches, but now I'm on record at the health department as a biter...I'm so misunderstood.

There is no such luck for a weekly marrow bone cos a couple of my friends chipped their tooth while chomping on it.

I got to know Fever, Party & Mango thru the blog. I sort of found out that they were gonna hang out at this park so I went looking for them!!! It was great fun
